A Proclamation About Falling Forward

The easiest way to make sure you get something completed is to put your goal out in the universe and allow others to help keep you accountable. I hear this works for diets, but that’s not the proclamation I’m making right now.

Hear this proclamation:

I am Writing a Book for the First Time

(and I need your help)!

The working title for my new book is Falling Forward: This Go-Givers Journey. I plan to have the first draft completed by Christmas 2021, but I realize there are a number of supporters in my life that I’ll need to help keep me accountable.

That said, I am fortunate to have a mentor like Bob Burg, best-selling author and one of the co-authors of the Go-Giver Series, by my side during this journey. I am also very blessed to have several authors that I can ask for advice including Don Yaeger, Jillian Neal, Tamera Alexander, Stan Phelps,  Joe Ehrrman, and Dr. Kevin Elko to name a few. Between my marketing team at Brand Mark Digital, the incredible folks at AMA-Nashville, and my family and close friends, I know that I will not fail in my endeavors. This book will be better because of the people I have in my life and those I met along the way.

Why write a book?

I can sum it up in one word: Value.

The Law of Value states that your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment**.

I have a story, and I believe others can learn from my story. In fact, I believe that this story will fulfill the definition of value ten times over. And perhaps most importantly, this is a story I need to tell in order to get closure.

This leads us back to how you can help

The next time you see me, ask me how the writing is going. In doing so, you’ll play an essential role in helping me meet my deadlines. But, don’t be surprised if I run a concept by you or ask for your opinion.

As my excitement for this project, and the value I think this book can hold, grows, I feel confident those in my circle will be hearing a lot more about my journey of falling forward. I cannot wait to share this story with you all.

Until then, if you’d like to receive updates on my progress, cheer me along, or hold me accountable, please enter your email below to subscribe to my blog.
